HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE IMAGING & PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPHY (Fall | Intermediate/Advanced)
Saturday|  1:00 – 7:00p (Shoot offsite) | Dec 12
Sunday | 11:00a – 5:00p (Process)  | Dec 13

A 2-day weekend intensive workshop where students learn about HDRI & Panoramic photography. HDRI “high dynamic range imaging” is a technique using camera exposure and software to create images with a greater dynamic range (the range of values between light and dark areas) through the process of tone mapping. Digital panoramic photography uses overlapping camera exposures to “seam” together multiple images into one image with a perceived wide field of view. On day one, learn how to make proper exposures and explore your creativity on location. On day two, learn how to correct and process the images using Photoshop CS3 and third party HDR software. PRE-REQ: Basic Photoshop and Level 1 Digital Photo, or equivalents. BRING: Digital SLR or digital camera with manual exposure adjustments and wide angle lens capabilities, and a tripod.
