SPE West Region Conference Announced with Alec Soth, Keynote Speaker

I’m pleased to announce that the SPE West Regional conference will be in San Francisco during Nov 13-16, 2008. The theme is Inspiration. I am co-chairing this along with Kathleen Laraia McLaughlin of Los Angeles. We need all the help we can get so please email me if you can lend a hand.

image.jpgThe conference, which brings together photography educators, professionals and students from California, Nevada and Hawaii is hosted by and will take place at the Academy of Art in the Morgan Auditorium at 491 Post Street, SF, CA.

Calls for Proposals
Theme: Inspiration: action, influence, ideas
* We are seeking proposals fitting our conference theme by educators, students and image makers.
* Presentations can be by individuals or panels.
Submission Deadline: May 1 – June 30 2008
