Students Retouch Photos Damaged in Natural Disasters

City College of San Francisco photography students restored images as part of  Operation Photo Rescue (OPR), a volunteer network of professional photojournalists, photographers, graphic designers, image restoration artists and others whose mission is to repair photographs damaged by unforeseen circumstances such as house fires and natural disasters at no cost to the people who own them.

The photography students  Nick Aitken, Susanna Emili Barbieri, Chris Ingalls, Anastasia Kuba, Stan Lipsitz, Allison Marquard, Shane Parton, Brian Spady and Eiji Ueda participated as part of their PHOTO 60B “Intermediate Photoshop” class taught by Erika Gentry.
