Helping Northern CA Fire Victims

A home in Santa Rosa where several residents rented rooms. Many of these residents work in the wine industry and will struggle to find affordable housing again.

As firefighters battle to contain the wildfires raging across Northern California—which have left 41 people dead and scorched more than 217,000 acres—locals are beginning to grapple with the damage to their homes and regional businesses need our support to keep going and keep people working! See more dramatic photographs here.

Here are a few initiatives I’m participating in:
1. Book a one-on-one tutorial with me and I”ll donate 100% of the proceeds to fire victims. I have friends personally affected by this disaster who have literally lost everything and I am choosing to focus on helping them to make a direct difference as well as give to charities.  If you’d like to help me help my friend, a photographer and winemaker who rented a room in the home pictured above, Feel free to contact me for a tutorial or paypal any little venmo/paypal amount to or mail to: PO BOX 27427, Oakland, CA 94602. Here are a list of services.

2. Wine excursions:  Wineries are open and they need our business! It is vital to keep the economic engine going – go visit and help keep people employed. To see whats open visit: Or, if you’d like to join me and 7 other wine lovers, I have planned several beautiful day trips to Healdsburg, CA where I will take you via van to visit 2 of my favorite local vineyards for wine tastings. This experience is by invitation only. Please contact me if you’re interested:

3. Donations: I’m sure you each have a population dear to your heart – I hope everyone can contribute a little something. Here are a few organizations I know do good work and would appreciate our support:
Sonoma County Resilience Fund :The Sonoma County Resilience Fund was created in October 2017 with a lead gift of $250,000 from Facebook to address the mid to long-term needs of Sonoma County to recover and rebuild from the devastating fires that have struck our community.
CA Wine Strong: #CAWineStrong
Winery tasting rooms, breweries, restaurants, hotels and other CA wine loving businesses throughout California have committed to donating a portion of their sales during the balance of October to fire relief efforts.
